The Impact
Measure engagement, outcomes and organisational value.

Workplace wellbeing should be measurable.
A programme should not be judged solely by the number of sessions delivered or resources distributed.
Organisations need to understand whether employees participated, whether meaningful changes occurred and whether the intervention should be continued, adapted or expanded.
NUVAVEN builds measurement into the programme from the beginning.

What can be measured
The exact measures will depend on the workforce challenge, pilot group and agreed programme objectives.
Employee-level outcomes
Aggregated programme measures may include:
Participation and completion
Employee-reported wellbeing
Energy and fatigue
Sleep
Nutrition habits
Physical activity
Stress
Confidence and health knowledge
Goal progression
Satisfaction with the programme
Organisational outcomes
Where suitable data is available and the programme is sufficiently established, organisational measures may include:
Sickness absence
Employee-reported productivity
Retention intention
Manager feedback
Programme engagement
Cost per participant
Cost per recovered workday
Demand for further support
Protecting employee privacy
Employers receive aggregated, anonymised reporting rather than individual health records.
Individual information should only be collected and processed for clearly defined purposes, with appropriate privacy, data-protection and professional safeguards.
The precise data model and reporting threshold must be agreed before delivery. NUVAVEN should not promise a specific level of anonymity or reporting until the programme’s data-protection arrangements have been professionally reviewed.

A structured evaluation
A NUVAVEN pilot is designed around two essential measurement points:
Baseline
Before delivery begins, the organisation and participating employees establish the starting position.
Programme completion
At the end of the programme, the same agreed measures are reviewed to identify participation, changes and areas requiring further support.
The employer then receives an anonymised outcome report with findings, limitations and recommendations.
What the evidence tells us
A peer-reviewed meta-analysis of workplace health-promotion interventions found an average reduction of 1.56 sickness-absence days, although results differed substantially between interventions and workplaces.
This should not be interpreted as a guaranteed result for every NUVAVEN programme. Workplace health research shows that effectiveness depends on the intervention, target group, implementation, organisational environment and employee participation.
NUVAVEN therefore reports the results actually observed rather than promising predetermined savings.
From pilot to partnership
The proposed NUVAVEN commercial pathway is:
Workshop → Workforce audit → Paid pilot → Outcome report → Annual partnership
A focused pilot allows the organisation to test the model, establish a baseline and decide whether wider delivery is justified.
If the programme demonstrates suitable engagement and value, support can then be expanded to additional employee groups or delivered as an ongoing organisational partnership.
Evidence for employees. Insight for employers.
NUVAVEN helps organisations move beyond wellbeing activity and towards a clearer understanding of participation, outcomes and organisational value.
